Portland Pleasure Retreat

Pleasure Retreat

One of my greatest joys is gathering with women. I love sitting in a circle of women and sharing our thoughts and wants and passion and heartbreak. I love witnessing the connections that take place and the empathy that blankets the group.

Magic occurs when we gather and let ourselves be seen and held.

And one of my greatest passions is helping women embrace pleasure and lead a more turned on life. I love helping them discover pleasure in the mundane and simple every day occurrences. And I love giving them permission to cultivate grander, wilder pleasure and claim it for themselves without guilt or inhibition.

And now I’m taking my joy and passion and combining them for a Pleasure Retreat in Portland.

Ever since I announced my Paris Pleasure Retreat I’ve been getting requests to do something closer to home. And I’m answering the call.

Registration is open for a 1/2 day Pleasure Retreat in Portland!

Sunday, September 13th from 1pm-4pm.

The retreat will be held at my office space in NE Portland (I will send details when you register).

What you will experience during the retreat –

We will talk about what pleasure is, what gets in the way and things you can do to embrace pleasure.

There will be time to share your own story and what you want. You will also hear from other women in the group.

You will be part of a community of women you have similar desires and are committing to more pleasure.

You will get a break from your day to day and come to a space that is all about YOU and creating your most beloved life.

What you will leave with –

New possibilities for pleasure.

A Pleasure Map – Tangible things you can do to cultivate more pleasure in your life.

The accountability of the group to help encourage you as you commit to pleasure in your life.

This group is limited to 10 women.

Registration is currently closed. Subscribe to my newsletter to be the first to learn about future retreats.

Pleasure as a core value!

I spotted this while out with a friend. We were discussing a pleasure retreat that I'm developing!

I spotted this while out with a friend. Guess what we were talking about when I happened to look up and see this on the wall!

I love pleasure!

I write about it. I talked about it. I (try to) embody it.

The older I get, the more I see that for me, pleasure is a way of life. The more I engage my pleasure, the more my heart opens. The more connected I am to my pleasure, the grander I feel. The more I open to pleasure, the more space and capacity I have for the harder things in life. Pleasure enriches my life and also gives me reserves when things are difficult.

When I think about what I want my life to look like or how I want it to feel, pleasure always makes the list.

Pleasure is one of my core values.

When I tell people this I often get a sideways glance. Doesn’t that make you selfish? What about responsibility and hard work and love and integrity? How can you prioritize pleasure when there is so much suffering in the world?

Oh dear ones, denying pleasure won’t make the suffering go away. Engaging with pleasure will make the world feel a little less bleak. Understanding and embracing pleasure will give us strength to move through the suffering.

Pleasure is not lazy.

Pleasure is not selfish.

Pleasure is not silly.

Pleasure is a way of life.

I have other core values – integrity and love and family/tribe and honesty. These values are very important to me. And pleasure fits in there beautifully. For me it’s not an either or. I don’t have to choose pleasure or responsibility. I can have both. I can have joy and pleasure and passion and commitment and integrity and playfulness and thoughtfulness I can have them all if I choose to allow and cultivate all of those things.

What are your core values?

What are the things that are most important to you?

How do you want your life to feel? And what will help you feel those things?

Naming pleasure as one of my core values helps me prioritize it. It is an integral part of my life and when I label it a value, that helps me treat it that way.

What if pleasure was one of your values? How would you live differently?

Turned on : awaken your want and dare to desire – Purchase the PDF

Turned On FINAL sans dates - lorez

TURNED ON: awaken your want and dare to desire

A course devoted to pleasure and creation, intimacy with ourselves and connection with the world.

Because it is all connected, and some part of us knows this, always.

Because it just may be possible that what you seek is also seeking you.

Because you’ve been asleep, or you set aside those parts of you that were hungry for experience and expression, and now everything inside you is restless to wake up and be turned on to life, the ecstatic and the voluptuous and the clarity in moments when it is just you and the morning and the quiet and you know the names that live just beneath your skin.

Because you want to know what it would look like and feel like for your sensuality to belong to your spirituality instead of severed into two separate selves.

Because asking, just taking the risk and asking for what we want, is not something we are taught how to do, and it might feel really good to have a place to practice and play with what it feels like on the tongue and in your heart and the sound of your own voice coming out clear while you are celebrated for daring to desire.

Because the answer just might be yes.

Because intimacy is about a way of being in relationship with life herself, turned on to the vibrations of creativity, erotic and messy and glorious.

Because it feels like this moment may be your moment, the one where there is no more waiting,

and you begin.

Let’s ignite the spark, heed the hunger and dive into desire.

Let’s practice and play together.

Two weeks of immersion into beauty and substance,

provocations of imagination

and real life ways to explore your own awakening,

diving into the uncharted territories of our own true want.
